The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is a renewed, 8 carrier braid, which is produced in Japan and now features the “VT Construction Method” braiding technology. The new tight weave VT construction is created through applying high tension at opposing directions during the braiding process. The fibers are weaved evenly at all angles – resulting in a smoother finish, reduced diameter and a long cast.
